Volunteer Program Launched: Explore Jiangxi, China

2024-01-23

A unique opportunity has arisen for individuals interested in experiencing a new culture and contributing to educational initiatives abroad. We are excited to announce the launch of a volunteer program aimed at offering locals, who might not otherwise have the chance, a chance to visit Jiangxi, China, and immerse themselves in its rich culture.

For our initial cohort, we are seeking 10 enthusiastic participants. The success of this initial group will determine the expansion of the program in the future.

This program is entirely free for the participants. It covers all expenses, including pre-departure training, visa processing, airfares, local transport in China, accommodation, meals, and a modest monthly stipend.

Applicants are required to have completed High School (year 13), be 18 years or older, and possess no criminal convictions. They should be individuals of 'good character', supported by letters from community members.

The participants will play an active role in assisting local English teachers in schools or kindergartens during the mornings. Afternoons will be dedicated to learning the Chinese language and understanding Jiangxi's culture. Additionally, there will be opportunities to travel within Jiangxi and visit its famous landmarks.

We are now inviting applications for this exciting program. The application form is available through the link provided below. The deadline for submitting applications for the first cohort is February 11. Selected participants will be notified by February 14 and will undergo a 1-month part-time preparation program (approximately 20 hours, online). The departure to Jiangxi is scheduled for mid-March, with the exact date to be confirmed.

Interested individuals are encouraged to apply and seize this chance to explore and contribute to a global community.
